I didn’t come from privilege - far from it. My parents were second-generation immigrants, and we grew up in a council estate. I remember picking pennies off the ground just to buy food at school.

For years I worked retail jobs - Tesco, McDonald’s, Primark - before graduating with a first-class degree and stepping into corporate life: tech sales, PR and corporate brokerages. I felt trapped in cycles of burnout and survival.
